In addition to a site that drops dramatically-over 35 feet from street to lake- the space also required passable pedestrian and vehicular access and careful management of storm water by redirection and diffusion. Preserving as many of the large indigenous hardwoods took high priority in regards to site planning including structure design and methods focused on maintaining long-term tree health.
